“A Perfect World” Update

It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged about my advances in “Perfect World” (an online MMORPG) so I figured it was about time.

I’m now a level 56 Elf Priest in the Euphoria guild (well, long story short, we’re now “ephoria”).Level 56 Armor

I also have this cute dress that I like to wear on occasion, although it seems to attract more PKers (player kill). So that’s rather unfortunate but I live with it. I also bought some pretty badass wings that allow me to fly faster which is a great asset on the large Perfect World map.

If you also play Perfect World, let me know and maybe we can meet up sometime in-game. I’m always in need of people to do boss quests with :)

Of a Really Busy Summer

So, as has become the norm, I apologize for the horrible length of time between this post and the one previous- working around 55 hours a week leaves little time for me to get around to blogging (and I’m usually so tired at the end of the day I hardly feel like it if I did have the time.) But, I’m alive and doing fairly well, all things considered.

I’m currently reading Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. Read the rest of this entry »

An Abnormal Monday

Since today was Martin Luther King Day (MLK Day), we didn’t have school and so I spent most of today catching up on reading that I’d procrastinated over the weekend and getting some good game time in (Zelda and Perfect World, anyone?). Tomorrow morning I have to get up bright and early to get to Archaeology across campus. Argh.

I have three more programming assignments to complete this week… don’t let me forget, will you?

Of Lazy Saturdays

I’ve finished up that C# program I mentioned in my last post. It didn’t end up being so hard after all. Two while loops and a few if/else statements later and it was finished. One down, three more to go. Oh my.

I’m officially to the Forest Temple in Twilight Princess. It admittedly took me awhile to get used to how the game works and there were a few points where I was in the right place and trying the right things, but I just wasn’t doing them in exactly the right way for it to work. For example, when I was supposed to sneak up on the villagers talking about the shield, I was creeping up to listen, but just not close enough. It took me forever to realize that by sneaking closer I could listen to more of the conversation. I initially assumed I was just in the wrong place or something. At this rate, who knows how long it will take me to get through the first temple… haha
