Spring Break Part II

I was really going to include photos in this and the last post, but I wasn’t able to find my logo so I could watermark them. I’m hoping I didn’t forget to back it up someplace, because I recently reformatted my computer and if I can’t find it then I’ll have to remake it. :(

Spring Break 2009 Part I

I’ll have to update this later with photos because I’m too tired to crop and resize my photos at the moment. So someone remind me, okay? :)

We arrived on Monday and things have been pretty good. We’ve been to see Fisherman’s Wharf, rode the trolleys and shopped at various places around the city like Chinatown and Union Square. We got to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe which is something I always love to do when I get the chance. I was trying to gear up to write a lengthy post about what’s been going on since then but I find that I don’t really have a lot to say. Read the rest of this entry »

Just a Week More

One more week until spring break in San Francisco, California… hooray!

The good thing is, unlike in previous semesters, all of my exams fell 2 weeks away from spring break so that I’m not scrambling to study before break. My next clump of exams aren’t until March 26/April 1/April 3 so that’s pretty sweet.

I’ve recently discovered that I have an interview with a company for an internship on Tuesday. I’m hoping it works out, but if it doesn’t, then I already have another job lined up doing web development. It’s pretty much a no-downside situation which is a first, haha.

Anyway, it’s rather late and I’ve got a 7:30 a.m. class tomorrow so I’ll make some sort of effort to update more frequently. I’ll be sure to update this blog with pictures from my trip. :)

Talk about Neglect

This site is pretty much suffering from a whole lot of neglect. I guess that’s an unfortunate side-effect of being an overworked college student but there you are. Tomorrow (er, today) is March 1 and I can’t hardly believe it. Spring break is March 16-20 and I’m completely excited because I’m going to San Francisco, California to see my sister Candace. It’s going to be pretty much amazing. I just have to last through two more weeks of classes and such and then I can take an ever-so-short break. Hoorah.

On a sidenote, I’ve begun tentatively looking for another camera. Not that there’s anything wrong with mine, I’d just like a point-and-shoot with some manual capabilities, with the obvious good quality pictures. I would really like to play with manual settings but my current camera is lacking. Any suggestions?

PS: I’m still trying to garner some donations for cancer research for Relay for life if you feel so inclined.
